Three Budget Apps That Help Manage Your Finances
Steves Rodriguez is the founding partner of Freemark Financial, a business management firm that provides cash management, tax and accounting, and insurance review services to individuals and companies in the entertainment industry. When asked about his take on budget applications, Steves Rodriguez of Freemark Financial mentioned Venmo as his top choice due to its cashless payment feature.
Budget applications are helpful tools to budget income, track expenses, and even schedule bill payments. There are different types of budget apps to choose from, however, there are three which were standouts in 2018.
1. Mint
Developed by Intuit, Mint is a free mobile budget application that provides a range of features including budgeting, bills tracking, and personalized savings tips. Mint displays the balances and spending by category so that the users can see where their money goes.
2. Wally
Wally is another user-friendly and straightforward budget application that is free to download on mobile phones. Available in multiple currencies, Wally lets its users keep track of their income and daily expenses. Also, Wally displays the remaining budget so that users are reminded to ease up on their spending.
3. PocketGuard
PocketGuard is an all-in-one personal finance application. In addition to basic tracking of income and expenses, PocketGuard also allows its users to link their bank accounts to monitor any transactions from their checking and saving accounts as well as loan payments and investments. PocketGuard also finds opportunities for their users to pay less on bills or increase savings with high-interest rates.
